چکیده

Purpose: To analyze 68 Ga-PSMA-617 PET/CT or PET/MR and delayed images in patients diagnosed with suspicion of prostate cancer, to explore the optimal use for initial diagnosis staging cancer. Methods: Images from conventional scan by Ga-PSMA whole-body followed pelvic were retrospectively analyzed. Prostatic uptake was measured as SUVmax1 (conventional 1 h post injection) SUVmax2 (delayed 3 injection). Age, PSA levels, SUVmax compared between benign malignant cases. The correlation Diagnostic performance evaluated ROC analysis. Results: Fifty-six 41 cancers 15 lesions enrolled. Fifty-three had paired scans. tPSA, fPSA significantly different A good found SUVmax2. There significant difference group ( p = 0.001). superior diagnostic than SUVmax2, a sensitivity 85.4%, specificity 100% an AUC 0.956. combination nodal and/or distant metastases MR PI-RADS V2 score 100%. Delayed imaging 33 be redundant because these which can easily detected PET/CT. provided incremental value 8 at early-stage cancer based on precise anatomical localization changes lesion signal MR. Conclusion: Combined accurately differentiate diseases stage Whole-body is sufficient advanced Pelvic contributes accurate early Imaging about after injection most patients. Age Specific Reference Levels of Serum Prostate-Specific Antigen, Prostate Volume and Prostate Specific Antigen Density in Healthy Iranian Men

Background: It is relevant to highlight that there is not a precise and perfect report on either 95 percentile value (upper limit of normal range) or on appropriate reference intervals for serum PSA in Iranian population. Objective: To determine age-specific reference ranges for serum prostate-specific antigen (PSA) concentration and PSA density (PSAD) and prostate volumes in a population of he...

Updates of prostate cancer staging: Prostate-specific membrane antigen

The ability to accurately stage prostate cancer in both the primary and secondary staging setting can have a major impact on management. Until recently radiological staging has relied on computer tomography, magnetic resonance imaging, and nuclear bone scans to evaluate the extent of disease. However, the utility of these imaging technologies has been limited by their sensitivity and specificit...

68Ga–Prostate-Specific Membrane Antigen: A Potential Radiopharmaceutical in PET/CT To detect primary Cholangiocarcinoma

68Ga Prostate-specific membrane antigen (PSMA) is an increasingly popular radiopharmaceutical tracer in prostate cancer and is becoming increasingly researched in other cancers such as breast cancer, renal cell carcinoma, glioblastoma multiforme, among others. Cholangiocarcinoma is the second most common primary hepatic malignant tumor; it is an aggressive tumor with a 5-year surviva...

Synthesis and evaluation of [64Cu]PSMA-617 targeted for prostate-specific membrane antigen in prostate cancer.

We radiolabeled a ligand, PSMA-617, of prostate-specific membrane antigen (PSMA) with copper-64 (64Cu), to evaluate the metabolism, biodistribution, and potential of [64Cu]PSMA-617 for PET imaging of prostate cancer. [64Cu]PSMA-617 was synthesized by heating PSMA-617 with [64Cu]CuCl2 in buffer solution at 90°C for 5 min. In vitro uptake was determined in two cell lines of prostate cancer. In vi...

Prostate-specific antigen kinetics after hypofractionated stereotactic body radiotherapy for localized prostate cancer

Background: stereotactic body radiotherapy (SBRT) has emerged as an effective treatment for localized prostate cancer. However, prostate-specific antigen (PSA) kinetics after SBRT has not been well characterized. The objective of the current study is to analyze the rate of PSA decline and PSA nadir following hypofractonated SBRT in localized prostate cancer. Materials and Methods: From 2008...
